Our weekend walk was an 8 km Easy/Medium circuit between Depot Beach and Pebbly Beach in Murramarang National Park. Starting at the Rainforest carpark at Depot we took an old track up the hill through the forest. The track is getting a little overgrown with yellow flowering pea bushes, but it was quite beautiful pushing our way through the vegetation and being showered with yellow petals.
We stopped at Pebbly Beach for a break before heading back towards Depot along the rock platforms at low tide. It was a sparkling spring day and those rock platforms are always gorgeous and fun to explore. The views are magnificent. Back at Depot Beach we paused for lunch overlooking the water. Unfortunately the Rainforest Walk between the beach and our carpark is still closed until National Parks clear fallen debris from the last storm event.
